La Patrimonial activation and its dynamics in the enhancement of cultural assets: An experience at the Colegio Nacional of Buenos Aires

This paper aims to make an analysis of an experience carried out at the Buenos Aires National School which involved the valorization of historical teaching collections. For this analysis, we started with the recognition of the dynamics of patrimonial activation to explain the different aspects of the current patrimonialization in the institution. Through the identification and description of space, collections, different actors involved and points of debate about heritage preservation, social dynamics that led to a new community connection with its cultural property were explored. To consider these issues may be relevant in the development and permanence of strategies for heritage care.
