El Papel Rosa, From the Container to the Exhibition

Abstract

The accidental finding of the painting El papel rosa in a disposal container, signed by Monica Soler Vicens, at the begging of 2017, started an historical investigation about the particular author and her artistic career. At the middle of the same year, it began the restoration works, in order to reestablish his visual potential, which was seriously affected by a dense coating of dirt and deformation on the support. The recognition of an artistic work as such, the investigation and treatment, it help to give to the painting and author, the value of her artistic career and professional background.
