War and pain in Colombia: representing deaths, remembering absences

Abstract

Transcription of the conference helded with the motive of the opening of the exhibition "Memoria en vilo. Auras anónimas, de Beatriz González" at the Centro de Estudios Espigas, TAREA IIPC, Buenos Aires, March 26th, 2019.

Based on a series of works on the war in Colombia, some approaches, dialogues and attempts by artists to accompany, testify or contribute to the mourning of six decades of violence and injustice are drawn.
